We hope. So here’s what happened. I was at Lowes with my oldest son last weekend. He was there to help me load some bags of composted manure. An excellent task for a 16 year old? Of course. Anyway, as we walked through the gardening section of the store the “giant pumpkins” caught out eyes. It seemed like we both thought “Giant pumpkins?” I suggested we each go 1/2 on the pack of seeds. That’s $1.245 apiece. Not bad for seeds that “routinely grow 400 – 500 pound pumpkins”
We bought the seeds and the next morning planted them. This is what that moving moment looked like:
